When she died aged 102, Tina Blanc left nothing but an empty
suitcase to the Lucas' and the Milano's, two Gipsy families. The
current members of these two families do not
follow "the rules", like their ancestors did. The head of the
Gipsy community, Pepe MILANO, makes a point of teaching them the lost
traditions. Throughout short scenes and selected moments of life, we
enter their universe.
Our guide, Mathilde
ROUX, not familiar with the peculiar characters that Aunt Tina had
always kept hidden from her, meet Pepe for the first time and share with
him precious moments.
Postcards and letters thrown in a basket are the written testimonies of what
was said, told and transmitted randomly along their voyages. |
